Complexul Turistic Telescaun

Riding the chairlift in Vatra Dornei gradually takes you out of the rhythm of the town and carries you up to approximately 1,300 m altitude. As you climb, the landscape opens up, and your gaze takes in both the mountain ridges and the settlement below, in an ever wider perspective over the area. Here, the mountain is in no hurry. Neither will you feel the need to be.

The route to altitude

The climb can be made by chairlift or along Via Transilvanica, the road that connects. There is also the option of access by car, but the recommendation remains to choose a slow pace, on foot or by chairlift, to enjoy the route.

Elevation 1300 — viewpoint

If you want a high-altitude holiday, with clean air and wide views over the Călimani Mountains, as well as a perspective over the Vatra Dornei resort, a chairlift ride is the right choice for your holiday. The installation only starts if at least 10 people gather.
